1984 Starting in a premises of 3400sq.ft., a spring manufactory grew one decade into the contemporary largest spring producer.

1994 confronted by the trend of diversification, the precedent shareholder who was also the sole decision-maker gave up his shares. He left to let himself build his ideal spring empire, the Hong Kong New Kowloon Spring Ltd.

1999 All the facilities and capacities of the 6600 sq.ft. Spring Manufactory was insufficient to meet the order demand. To complement with the rapid uptrend, Guangzhou Auto Spring Co., Ltd. of 9000 sq.ft. and 50 staff members was established in March. The parallel run of both the Hong Kong and Guangzhou factories was to satisfy the various delivery and export needs.
Unexpected business expansion pace required further extension of the manufactory to 23000 sq.ft. in the Mainland. With the introduction of the heavy-duty machinery and equipment, the first Hong Kong fund financed spring manufactory was born in Guangzhou.

2000 Auto Spring (Shenzhen) Ltd. of 24000sq.ft and 110 staff members commenced operations. Guangzhou Auto spring Co.,Ltd. was ISO 9002:1994 approved.
2001 Guangzhou Auto spring Co., Ltd. was ISO 9001:2000 approved.
2003 Guangzhou Auto spring Co., Ltd. and Auto Spring (Shenzhen) Ltd. consolidated and were housed into the newly built 100,000sq.ft. environmentalism premises. Nowadays Auto Spring is one of the largest in south China. Equipment wise, product wise and management wise, Auto Spring is at the threshold towards the number-one spring manufactory producing springs with wire diameter from 0.03mm up to12.00mm.

2006 Guangzhou Auto spring Co., Ltd. was ISO 14001:2004 approved.
2006 Guangzhou Auto spring Co., Ltd. was ISO/TS 16949:2002 approved.
2007 Our Hong Kong head office changed her name from Hong Kong New Kowloon Spring Ltd. to Best Metal Spring Limited.
